The All Progressive Congress, APC, a gubernatorial candidate in Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu has lauded the courage of Governor Ben Ayade to contest in the just concluded APC presidential primaries.
Mr. Ayade squared it out with other APC gladiators. Otu took to this official Facebook page to shower praise on Governor Ayade for daring to contest and pulling 37 votes.
Sen. Otu’s words: “I congratulate you, our dear Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress South South zone of Nigeria, Sir. Ben Ayade on your bold, brave and great outing at the just concluded Presidential Primaries.
“Your vision of a better Nigeria and strong desire in fixing our dear nation comes from a place of love and patriotism. I am particularly proud of the recognition you brought to the Cross River brand at the national stage.
“In your speech, you made very strong submissions which reflected greatness and hope for a better Nigeria and have been judged the best and will re-echoe long after the convention.”
Furthermore, he said: “I commend your vision and audacity of hope for our dear nation. It was your first outing, the trophy may not have been won today, but it will certainly come. The future holds a lot for you.”
Governor Ayade scored 37 votes.
