Policeman Shot As Kidnapers Abduct One In Calabar

An unidentified shop owner located at road five, Federal Housing Estate Calabar, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

A Policeman in uniform who was at the scene was shot by the kidnapers.

Eyewitnesses say the policeman was unfortunate to have been seated in front of the shop when the gunmen arrived for the operation, and sighting him in uniform, shot at him while they whisked away their victim in a Sienna vehicle at about 11pm on Thursdays

Sources say the police officer was rushed to Navy Reference Hospital, Calabar and “we are currently praying God should spare his life.”
