The Executive Director and founder of Atycare Initiative marked her birthday with pupils of St. Peters Primary School, Ikot Offiong Ambai, Akpabuyo Local Government, Cross River State.
Born 2nd of May, Atim disclosed that the reason behind celebrating her birthday with the pupils is a way of giving back to society.
She said “Last week Tuesday was my birthday and I really felt it was very necessary to send 50 children back to school and unfortunately I couldn’t do that last week Tuesday because the school told us the population was lesser.
“I had to go to a school for special needs children to share my birthday with them, I gave them snacks and drinks and we had fun.”
Atim shared 50 school uniforms, sandals, dozens of exercise books, and writing materials.
She concluded that it was an opportunity to celebrate and encourage them of a bright future as most of them will be prominent people in the future.
“I might not even remember them but I know they will remember me and the most important thing is to send them back to school.
“I have this urge to move them to the level that they will become a better version of themselves.”
The Head Teacher of St. Peter’s primary school, Mrs. Etim Mary Asuquo commended the organization for its charity work and charged them to keep it up
“I appreciate Atycare Initiative so much for their patience even with me for enduring me today. I appreciate it.
“I appreciate your effort and God will bless Atycare Initiative so much and also give them the enablement to continue this work of charity because as they are doing it to other people’s children, God will grant them their heart’s desire.”
