As the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu marks 100 days in office, his tenure is said to have brought “significant impact in the State already”.
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by Mr. Joseph-Kelvin Enyam and made available to CrossRiverWatch.
Enyam who is a former Student Union leader from the University of Calabar, said he is optimistic Governor Otu’s “multifaceted dimensional vision and determination to birth a greater State for Nigerian Students and entire youths of our dear State will continue to drive positive changes in the days ahead which further indicates that, indeed the “Season of Sweetness” is here.”
The message reads in parts: “Your leadership has already made a significant impact in our State. Your commitment to transparency, economic growth, improved public infrastructure, and environmental sustainability has been rated best, especially in restoring the State to its glory days.
“The strategic social welfare approach developed to cushion the effects of the removal of fuel subsidies within the State is highly commendable.
“Your dedication to inclusivity and engagement evident engendered a sense of unity among Cross Riverians. The community team in your tact has endangered a sense of unity amongst Cross Riverians.”
He however prayed that “God continues to protect and guide you as we look forward to witnessing continued progress under your leadership. Cheers to more successful days ahead, Your Excellency”.
