The member representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency in the Houe of Representatives Honorable Peter Akpanke’s media aide, Awade Friday has allegedly been attacked during the by-election.
According to a report gathered by our reporters in the field, the host of the Otwetwe road show on Hit 95.9 FM was allegedly manhandled by thugs suspected to hail from the All Progressive Congress (APC) camp.

The location of the attack can not be ascertained at the time of filing this report but it is believed to happen in Obanliku Local Government, where he hails and one time aspired to contest under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The attack is coming as not less than three political thugs were arrested earlier today trying to disrupt the electoral process in Bayaga polling unit, Bisu Ward in Obanliku.
