The Cross River State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has met with Nde community leaders on ways to tackle kidnapping.
The meeting led by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Grimah alongside operation commanders of the Command and other sister security agencies held in Nde Community, Ikom Local Government Area of the State.
CP Grimah sought the community corporation and relationship to work with the Police in order to bring kidnapping to an end in the community and its environs.
This is coming a few hours after the convoys Of the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly, Honorable Elvert Ayambem on Sunday 28 April 2024 foiled a suspected kidnap operation along the Afi, Nde-Ogoja/Ikom highway.
