The Cross River State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Grimah, has recognized and commended the exceptional performance of three outstanding Tactical Commanders during the Command’s End of Month Conference.
The event, held on Thursday 29th August 2024, at the Police Officers’ Mess, Moore Road Calabar, was attended by senior officers of the Command.
The commendations were awarded to three officers for their exemplary dedication, hard work, and commitment to duty. The recipients of the awards are: CSP Essien Efoli, Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS); SP Hart Darlington, Commander of Operation Sting and SP Chukwuma Ogini the Commander of Anti-Cultism/Kidnapping Squad (ACKS).
CP Grimah praised the officers for their resilience and diligence in their respective roles and encouraged all officers within the Command to emulate the commitment and dedication demonstrated by the Tactical Commanders.
He emphasized the importance of upholding the values and standards of the Nigeria Police Force, particularly within the Cross River State Command.
The Commissioner of Police reiterated his commitment to sustaining a culture of rewarding hard work and dedication throughout his tenure, charging that “To whom much is given, much is expected”.
The State Police Boss urged the recipients and all officers to continue their efforts in maintaining law and order across the state.
According to the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Irene Ugbo, the recognition reflects the Command’s continuous effort to motivate and encourage its officers in their service to the community.
