The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced the launch of the livelihood improvement family enterprises – Niger Delta (Life-ND) initiative in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Imo, and River States.
The project, a collaborative effort with the federal government and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), aims to improve the livelihoods of families in the Niger Delta region.
The Life-ND project has commenced in six of the nine Niger Delta States, including Abia, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, and Ondo. The launch marks the expansion of the initiative to Akwa Ibom, Imo, and River State.
It seeks to enhance the income and food security of families in the region by providing training, resources, and support for agricultural enterprises and other income-generating activities.
