“If you make the mistake of allowing PDP to continue ruling, in the next four years when we meet ourselves we won’t be able to recognize each other”.
This assertion was made by the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) today while addressing his party faithfuls in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
Buhari pointed out that the rate of corruption in the country is alarming and that the only solution is APC through him as the President come 2015. He maintained that the APC government among other things on its agenda will squarely tackle insecurity and economic challenges confronting the country.
“The APC government will handle security and the economy as a priority because if there is no security there is no way the economy will grow, you either kill corruption or corruption will kill our country, we are determined to make sure that the economy is expanded.” said Buhari.
The APC presidential candidate maintained that the best asset we can give our people and generations coming behind us is education and enjoined the general public to get their permanent voters cards, make sure they vote on election day and ensure their votes count.
The visit of the APC presidential campaign team to Cross River State also saw the party governorship candidate in the state being presented the party’s flag by the national chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie Oyegun.
