Former Sports Development Minister, Owan Enoh Hands Over

The immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sen. John Owan-Enoh has officially handed over to Mr. Shehu Dikko, the newly appointed Chairman of the National Sports Commission.

During the handover ceremony, the former Minister presented comprehensive briefs of the various departments, highlighting progress made during his one-year and three-month tenure.

In his words “Here’s wishing the Chairman all the best. May the Sports sector do well for the good of our nation”.

Mr. Dikko pledged to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor, focusing on grassroots development and international competitiveness.

According to him, the focus of the National Sports Commission is to set right the foundation of our national sports while the results will naturally come in a sustainable manner.
