2019 Budget: Ayade To Spend N1.4 Billion On Local, Oversea Travel

By Jonathan Ugbal

The Cross River State Government 2019 budget estimates provide a total of NGN1,420,000,000 (one billion, four hundred and twenty million Naira) for Governor Ben Ayade’s travel and transport for the 2019 financial year.

Of this figure, his local travel and transport is expected to gulp NGN800,000,000 (eight hundred million) while NGN620,000,000 was provided for the sub head “Oversea Travel and Transport.”

The 2019 budget estimates christened “ Budget of Qabalistic Densification” have remained inaccessible by the public even after several promises to upload it online.

But, following several months of investigations, CrossRiverWatch has obtained the budget with his estimated travel expenditures remaining unchanged from the 2018 budget of Kinetic Crystallization.

The Governor has come under severe criticisms several times in the past four years for his incessant travels.

The most recent were his trips to Taiwan just before his second term inauguration and to Norway barely 96 hours into his second term in office.

CrossRiverWatch shall be running a 21 day long feature: “Qabalistic Densification with Jonathan Ugbal” where we shall be breaking down and analyzing the 2019 budget figures with experts.
