Lagos State Election Petition Tribunal has overturned the election of Mr Kenny Okunmuyide as chairman of Agbado-Okeodo Local Council Development Area (LCDA),as the tribunal declared the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Busari Ayinde winner of the October the 22nd 2011 poll.
The tribunal has also ordered a re-run of the Yaba LCDA chairmanship elections.
The tribunal’s decision marks another judgment in favour of opposition candidates in the Lagos local council polls.
On October the 4th, the election petition tribunal had declared the PDP’s Babajide Obanikoro winner of the Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA chairmanship election, nullifying the victory of ACN’s Adewale Adeniji.
