There is palpable tension within and around the High Court of Calabar along Moore Road as security has been beefed up in and around the court premises.
CrossRiverWatch visit to the Court this morning saw different supporters of the political parties gathered to discuss the possible outcome of the judgment.
The judgement which was slated for 9am could not start as at press time(about 11:am).
Supporters of the All progressives Congress were seen in groups with hope that today’s jurisdiction judgement will go in their favor .
Just as Political aides of the Governor and PDP stalwarts were sighted moving left and right around the court premises.
Justice Ofem Ikpi Ofem is expected to deliver today’s judgment on the jurisdiction of the court to entertain the matter of extension of election date brought to the Court by the All Progressives Congress APC against Cross River State Independent Election Commission (CROSIEC).
The details of the court case are HC /305/2013 and HC/303/2013.
