Ugbo, Legor, Oti, Shine At Akamkpa Caucus Screening

The Akamkpa PDP Caucus on Thursday October 2nd met with nine Cross River state 2015 governorship aspirants in a bid to screen them for the PDP primaries.
The meeting which started at about 5pm at Planet Hotel, State Housing in Calabar saw a large turn out of party supporters from Akamkpa LG led by the chapter chairman, Ntufam Paulinus Asim.

Each candidate which included, Fidel Ugbo, Julius Okputu, Gerald Adah, Peter Oti, Peter Ojie, Larry Odey, Mike Aniah, Patrick Ugbe, were given 20minutes to address the Akamkpa leaders and supporters on their program and manifesto.
A member of the caucus who was at the meeting who did not want to be named rated Mr. Fidelis Ugbo, Barrister Legor Idagbo and Mr. Peter Oti as the best performers of the night.

He said: “Fidel Ugbo, Legor Idagbo and Peter Oti performed a lot better than others. There were more constructive in their presentations and seemed to understand the system more than the rest.
“We have not released our conclusions but I think we were very impressed by the presentations of those three aspirants.”
The meeting ended by 10pm with a vote of thanks from the chapter chairman of the party.
