Members of the State Working Committee of Cross River State Political Network, have congratulated Barr. Legor Idagbo, Barr Mike Aniah, Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo, Sen Ben Ayade, Rt Hon Larry Odey, on their emergence in the just concluded screening/results of the Caucuses of the 18 LGAs in the State.
In a statement made available to CrossRiverWatch, Prince Michael Nku Abuo, the Director General of the group expressed great delight in the peaceful conduct of the Caucuses which brought Barr. Idagbo and Barr. Aniah in the list for the race to Peregrino House.
He said he was not surprised at the emergence of the duo. “I am not surprise at the emergence of Barr Idagbo, he is a perfect gentleman who performed remarkably well in the various offices he handled, right from being a Council Chairman of Bekwarra to a very tasking office as Commissioner for Works in the State before which he had an outstanding legal profession”.
He said it was his commitment towards the growth of the State, his experience which surpasses his age and humility that saw to his emergence in the list.
He also described Barr. Mike Aniah as a distinguished lawyer of impeccable character, a lover of the youths and a great administrator.
“Barr Aniah has served the state brightly right from his days as commissioner for Education, Special Duties and Secretary to the State Government.
“If given a chance, he will perform exceptionally as governor of the State.”
He also thanked the Caucuses for their transparency and the peaceful manner they conducted themselves throughout the presentation and compilation of results.
