As part of the deliberate and concerted plans by the member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman, House of Reps Committee on Appropriation, Hon. John Owan Enoh to replace Senator Ndoma Egba by becoming the Cross River Central Senator come 2015, a meeting has been fixed for Ikom on Saturday October 18, 2014 for his formal declaration to contest for the office.

Information made available to CrossRiverWatch from the lawmakers camp indicate that the essence of the October 18 meeting in Ikom is to formally respond to the call by the people to have him serve them at the higher level-the Senate.

The message said: “In an event being planned for Ikom, I intend to respond formally to the clarion call for higher service by the people of the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State to serve them in the Senate”.

Hon. Enoh hope to secure his party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for the Cross River Central Senatorial District, a position presently occupied by Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN who is also the Senate Leaders.
