Reports reaching Crossriverwatch indicates that the senate majority leader and member representing Cross River central senatorial district in the red chambers, Ndoma Egba yesterday affirmed his total support to the Senator Ben Ayade’s candidature and other candidates of the party in all elective positions in the 2015 general elections.
The source says that the PDP gubernatorial candidate Senator Ben Ayade paid a visit to the Ikom residence of the Senate leader in the early hours of yesterday against the backdrop of the skirmish that ensued between supporters of the senate leader and that of Honourable Owan Enoh.
The source stressed that the senate leader is totally in support of the PDP. “he told Senator Ben that he never knew Owan Enoh (the PDP central senatorial candidate was in the convoy), he was very enthusiastic, he hosted the gubernatorial candidate in the company of friends, gathered his supporters and Senator Ayade addressed them and he even called Senator Ayade his colleague, promising that he will be part of the rally particularly in the central senatorial district”.
“Senator Ayade thanked him for keeping true to the party, his support and for respecting their colleagueship. Senator Ben said if everything that happens has approval from God, then it was best to leave everything to God and urged the Senate leader to find time to address his supporters to support the PDP at all levels.
