A PDP agent canvassing for votes in the voting cubicle yesterday

A CrossRiverWatch reporter yesterday caught a PDP polling agent on camera going to the voting cubicle to influence voters while other notable members were also seen boasting that PDP will sweep the polls in the state.

The incident took place at St. Stephen’s Primary School, Obudu, behind Mega Hilton hotel, a stone throw from the Obudu central motor park in Urban one political ward.

Noisy PDP members around the polling unit were seen criss crossing the electoral boxes at will and distracting electoral officials as well as having a field day canvassing electorates right inside the voting cubicle without any attempt by security agents to stop the act.

Our reporter who tried in vain to get the name of the PDP agent was threatened by other members around and told he was lucky because he was known around the area, else he would have been “thoroughly dealt with”.
