The vision behind the development of Calabar International Conference Center, CICC in Summit Hills, Cross River State was not only a milestone but was bound to score unprecedented firsts not only for Nigeria but West and Central Africa.
After its successful debut in the African Business Tourism Industry at Meetings Africa, WTM and IBTM in South Africa, Calabar ICC is set to compete for a slice of the international conference market at IMEX 2015, in Messe Frankfurt, Germany from 19th – 22nd May 2015.
International Meetings Expo, IMEX 2015 is the leading global business expo. The last IMEX event in 2014 brought together over 3,500 exhibitors and about 3,800 hosted buyers from 157 countries.
Also in a drive to meet its demand of attracting “hundreds of thousands” of visitors when it opens its door to the world in the third quarter of 2015, the center has expanded its team with the appointment of two new team members.
The new appointments include Mr. Hope Obeten as Research and Marketing Executive and Mr. Celestine Ahamnonu as Sales Coordinator, Port Harcourt Zone.
