The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF) hosted her 5th graduation ceremony for Graduate Employability Training (GET) students over the weekend in Calabar, Cross River State capital.
During the event the Secretary of the institute, Mrs. Ewajesu Fasina congratulated the 80 graduating students and said she was proud of who they had become.
According to her, “Since 2011 we have graduated 300 university graduates. You have made the 380th; we look forward to seeing your greatness”.
The Graduate Employability Training is a program directed towards the enhancement of effectiveness of Nigerian graduates on the realities of the Nigerian and global labor markets.
It is designed to improve the employability potential of youths in Cross River State, ignite a drive for continuous personal development in the beneficiaries and their close contacts, create high value personnel, thereby improving the quality of the active labor force in Cross River State.
Furthermore, it is also aimed at stirring up creativity and inventiveness in the young people as well as allowing exploration of core values and principles that can enable them to succeed in leadership and other areas.
TBLF, a non- profit leadership and mentoring foundation, is committed to building generations of young people educated to become compassionate, entrepreneurial and engaged citizens who are empowered to take responsibility for their own lives and for making a difference in the world.
