Two Cross River state Senators yesterday emerged Chairmen of Committees while the third was also handed a Vice Chairmanship position.
Senator John Owan Enoh, a first time Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial Districts, emerged Chairman Senate Committee on Finance.
Owan Enoh who was a three terms Member of the House of Representatives was also Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation in the 7th Assembly.
Senator Rose Oko, also a first time Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District became Chairman Committee on Diaspora and Civil Societies and Vice Chairman, Committee on Education.
Senator Rose Oko was also a two term member of the House of Representatives and was the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Education in the 7th Assembly.
Senator Gershom Bassey, the only green horn from Cross River in the Red Chamber will be deputizing Senator Donald Alaosaodura in the Committee on Petroleum Resources, Upstream.
