Cross River governor, Senator Ben Ayade has unveiled a book with a list of notable personalities in Cross River who have contributed to the growth and development of the state.
Ayade unveiled the book Thursday in Calabar during a State Executive Council (SEC) meeting after it was presented to him by Information and Orientation Commissioner, Rosemary Archibong while the SEC took a break from the usual proceedings.
Unveiling the document, Ayade described it as “A special document for those who have added value to Cross River State.”
He apologized in advance if there are typographical errors which he says are not meant to embarrass anybody and pointed out that: “I am sure like every other human document it is not idiot-proof.”
Also, he said that his administration has done a lot to ensure Cross Riverians enjoy the benefits of hard work.
“It is time for Cross Riverians to know that we now have a society, a system, a structure that acknowledges effort” Ayade said.
