Afro pop and freestyle artiste, MC Galaxy Tuesday thrilled wife of Cross River Governor, Dr. Linda Ayade in an all women dinner she organized to show appreciation to Cross River women following her husband’s triumph at the Supreme Court on December 9, 2016.

The event held at the Peregrino hall of the Governor’s lodge kicked off late but was filled to capacity an hour before it kicked off with some women barred from going in.

Ayade, CrossRiverWatch gathered used the dinner to show gratitude for the support given her husband and invited the Sekem crooner, MC Galaxy to perform at the event.

She got dancing when MC Galaxy was performing a new single paid for by her husband, Governor Ben Ayade.

The song titled ‘Ayade’ has a new dance step called ‘Shupe’ (pronounced ‘Shukpe’) and was first performed at the U.J Esuene stadium Monday with the moves seeing the dancer clench both fists and touching them at chest level where they are then moved in a small circular motion before a throwing gesture where the fingers are released.

The event which lasted far into the night was well attended with the noticeable absentee been her husband whom sources say was still locked in a discussion with the Speaker of the House of Assembly, John Lebo.

However, government house sources say it was strictly a women’s affair.
