The Nigeria Bar Association Legal Profession Regulation Review Committee (NBA LPRRC) will on today (Monday) hold a town hall meeting, a written notice sighted by CrossRiverWatch reveals.
The meeting themed; “The State of Legal Profession in Nigeria” is slated for 9:00 AM at the Transcorp Hotel in Calabar, the Cross River State capital with participants drawn from Civil Society Organizations, Branches of the NBA, the Media, Nigeria Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and other critical stakeholders the letter read.
“The Town Hall Meeting is set to examine the state of the Legal Profession in Nigeria, the likely problems confronting the profession, the role of the Legal Regulatory Architecture and the challenges facing the legal structure generally.
“It is also intended to use the forum to receive feedback and suggestions as to how we can reposition the profession for greater efficiency and effectiveness as well as render it more competitive in the global market place,” said the letter signed by the Chairman, NBA LPRRC, Chief Anthony Idigbe SAN.
