Autonomy: Local Government Employees Rally In Obudu

The Obudu local government chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees Thursday took to the streets to press home their demands for local government autonomy.

Obudu, located in northern Cross River, is over 300kilometres north of Calabar, the state capital.

The demonstration which took members bearing placards through major streets in Obudu and holds a few months after the national body of the union carried out the south-south zonal rally in Calabar to press home their demand for local government autonomy.
