Cross River born former President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr. Yakubu Shendam has emerged the National Chairman of one of the newly registered political parties, New Generation Party, NGP.
The NGP is among the five new parties that INEC recently registered.
An elated Mr. Shedam who hails from Obubra LGA in central Cross River state, told CrossRiverWatch just after securing registration that the party is set to galvanize the Nigeria youth and retake the country from elders who have run the country without results.
According to him, “The New Generation Party NGP, is open to new ideas of 21st century, to greatness, it is stronger and indivisible.
“It’s time for us to wake up and take back our country. The problem is not far from you over recycling of expired hands, professional party jobbers today are heading this and they are handling that with no clear integrity as of what they really want to do.
“Once they succeed in destroying the country for personal interest they run back and become tribal warriors, as soon as they gather more momentum again from the unsuspecting locals they are out again for another exploration. This time by God’s grace, it won’t work for them.”
He said the party will work with dependable partners to promote science and scientific exploration to become a super nation and urged young Nigerians to join the new party and begin a new leaf for the country.
“Join the New Generation Party NGP, today let’s start a new Nigeria with fresh and strong hands ready to provide new age education for the young population.” He said.
