The Chairman, Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC); Senator Victor Ndoma Egba SAN, has commended the Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on his visit to the Niger Delta Region to address Small and Medium Entrepreneurs at the Calabar International Conference Center in Cross River State.
In his words, “On behalf of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), I heartily commend the acting President of the federal republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo GCON, SAN on his recent visit to Cross River State to hold a Town Hall meeting as part of the ongoing steps by the federal government to interface with leaders and stake holders in the region through dialogue geared towards bringing lasting peace and development and also to participate in the SMSE Clinic.”
According to him the visit testifies to the commitment of the Buhari-led administration to bring governance near the people inspite of political/religious backgrounds.
“This visit is a testament to the commitment of the Buhari-led administration to bring governance to the doorstep of the citizenry by developing every part of the country irrespective of political affiliation and religious inclination,” he said.
He however admonished the good people of Cross River State and the Niger Delta Region at large to give the Federal government unwavering support as they continue in their renewed determination to make life meaningful and ultimately transform the region for good.
