Nigeria’s acting President; Yemi Osinbajo has re-appointed Dr. Joseph Okegbe as the Medical Director of the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Calabar.
Okegbe is nearing the end of his first tenure and joins four others whose re-appointments were approved by Osinbajo, a letter signed by his (Osinbajo) deputy chief of staff and addressed to the Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole said.
The approval is for 14 federal health institutions of which nine are serving their first tenures with Mr. Adewole in his congratulatory message to the appointees tasking them to provide training and supervision for adjoining health facilities as Government will monitor their performances and not fail to wield the big stick in the case of any abusing his or her office reports BusinessDay.
The appointments are for a tenure of four years.
