The Nkim traditional rulers council last weekend honored federal lawmaker, Honorable Jarigbe Agom for his contributions to the development of the Bakor nation.
This formed part of activities marking the 2017 ‘Eyel Mfemfe’ (Bakor new yam festival) where several others were also honored.
They include State House of Assembly man, Honorable Peter Odey as well as two aides to Cross River Governor, Senator Ben Ayade; Barrister DonClemz Enamhe and Honorable Mike Usibe.
Others include, Chief Ray Ugba Morphy, Captain Modey Hart and Mr. Patrick Moshe.
The celebration was the 54th edition of the festival which began in 1953.
And, several personalities used the opportunity to fete political allies and support groups with a notable one being the Commissioner for Power in Cross River State, Thomas Udam hosting the Governor, Benedict Ayade while enroute to the Obudu mountain resort on Saturday.
