Cross River born artist Pius Ushie Agaba popularly known as Real Pee Ajaba is set to host his extended play in Calabar, with Faze and African China billed to appear at the event.

Disclosing this to CrossRiverWatch, Real Pee said the event is aimed at encouraging young and upcoming artists, and to give them an opportunity and a platform to be on the same page and also perform on the same stage with other well-known artists out there.

The Lagos based artist said he was discovered during the 2010 Calabar Carnival, and since then has always been on stage and has always represented the State.

When asked what he envisions in the nearest future, he said he is taking music as a career and intends to reach the world through his music. “I am the owner of the pregnancy I carry, when a man runs alone, it is called Race but when God runs with him, it is called Grace,” Real Pee said.

He said his decision to extend the play to Calabar was based on an invitation from the Cross River State Governor’s wife, Dr. Linda Ayade after a fascinating performance which he displayed in Lagos.

According to him, he is working on an 85 track record breaking album with the likes of Banky W, Yemi Alade, Iyanya, Patoranking which will soon be released.

The event will hold on Saturday, 18th November, 2017 at Channel View Hotel, Calabar.
