UNICAL Beats UNILAG, UNN To Win ‘Best Use Of Social Media’ Award In Lagos (SEE PHOTOS)

Contrary to the expectation of most attendees at the 2017 Nigeria Technology Awards Night, that UNILAG was favorite to clinch the social media category, UNICAL rather emerged the surprise winner.

The event which held at the MUSON Center, Onikan Lagos, Saturday 25th November 2017, saw a stunned audience in rapturous applause when UNICAL was announced as winner of the “BEST USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA” category.

Other nominations in the category include the University of Uyo, University of Nigeria Nsuka UNN, University of Port Hacourt UNIPORT and the University of Lagos UNILAG.

The UNICAL Board of Media and Community Relations team, led by the Head, Dr. Joseph Ekpang, received the award on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Zana Akpagu.
