CALABAR GANG WAR: Father Of Two Shot Dead

Following the renewed gang war in Calabar the Cross River State capital, a man identified as Jude has been shot Saturday evening in his shop at Okoro Agbor axis of Ndidem Usang Iso road, Calabar.

According to separate accounts of eye witnesses the incident happened between the hours of 7:30pm and 8:30pm.

The father of two was shot in the stomach and was rushed to an unknown hospital where he was confirmed dead.

According to information available to our newsroom, it is suspected that the Jude is a member of one of the criminal gangs operating in Calabar, the Supreme Vikings Confraternity, SVC.

As at the time of filing this report it wasn’t clear which gang shot him but it is suspected to be either members of Aye or Klans confraternity because they are both at loggerhead with the SVC.
