The National Association of Professional Chefs Nigeria has awarded the General Manager of the Tinapa Lakeside Hotel, Justina Ovat a fellow of the association.

The National President of the association, Chef Paulinus Okon, while presenting the award to Mrs. Ovat in her office in Calabar, the Cross River State capital on Monday said it was in recognition of her contributions to the sector.

With the conferment, Ovat becomes a Fellow of the Association; a decision which Chef Paulinus said was taken at their last national conference.

He averred that the honor was for her “Contributions and the efforts you are making to ensure that the 2018 workshop is a success and is held in Tinapa.”

He later disclosed to CrossRiverWatch that the National Workshop is billed for March 12 to 15, 2018.

Countries such as Lesotho, Netherlands and Ghana have been confirmed for the event while more are expected, Paulinus said.
