The Supreme Court ruling directing INEC to recognize law No. 7 of the Cross River State House of Assembly has been described as victory of truth over lies, and light over darkness by the member representing Bakassi in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Ekpo Ekpo Bassey.

Hon. Ekpo EKpo said this while discussing the topic “Reality of the Supreme Court Ruling of Bakassi Electoral Issues: Facts, Fiction and the Fanatics of all Parties” on “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo” a contemporary radio program aired live on Sundays, 6-7pm on Hit 95.9 FM Calabar.

He furher stated that all the lingering issues in Bakassi were being initiated by some set of self-seeking people who feel that Bakassi should be in their pockets.
