Security operatives moments ago arrested the News Editor of CrossRiverWatch for allegedly filing pictures of Commissioners sleeping while the State Governor; Senator Ben Ayade was signing into law the 2018 budget.
Pictures of the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the State, Barrister Joe Abang and Commissioner for Sustainable Development, Mr. Oliver Orok, were posted on the facebook wall of the Publisher of CrossRiverWatch this afternoon and security operatives who assumed that the picture was sent to the publisher of CrossRiverWatch by Mr. Ugbal swept on him at the venue of the budget signing and seized his camera and his phone, arrested him and took him to the office of the chief of staff to the governor.
He was later moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department where he is currently held for reasons unknown to his employers.
However, information reaching CrossRiverWatch says Governor Ayade has intervened and called the security operatives to release Jonathan immediately.
But at the time of filing this report, he was yet to be released.
More details as they unfold.
