Federal legislator, Mr. Legor Idagbo who represents the Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra federal constituency in the National Assembly has said that he is not desperate to seek a second term in office.

Hon. Idagbo said this while presenting three vehicles and 30 motorcylces to the three PDP chairmen in Obudu, Obanlikwu Bekwara and 30 ward chairmen respectively.

Mr. Idagbo who made the donation last weekend, told CrossRiverWatch in a telephone interview that:

“In my speech I said I was not desperate for reelection or second term, I said so clearly and I am going to look up to my leaders and my people for direction on 2019.”

Hon. Idagbo who argued that the gesture was not an empowerment, but a strategy geared towards providing logistics to ease mobilization ahead of the 2019 elections, added that:

“Basically, I was interested in the success of our party at the grassroot level, that is why I provided mobility for our people to be active, our party people to be active, building up to 2019. It is not about the election.

“Because for me as a person, I am not desperate in seeking reelection or a second term.” Hebsaid.
