The Cross River State Government has identified financing and manpower development as key areas needed to ensure the state achieves universal health coverage.
The commissioner for health, Dr. Inyang Asibong and the Director General of the Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Betta Edu disclosed this in exclusive interviews as part of activities to mark the World Health Day 2018.
Both averred that there was need to improve on manpower as well as step up financing to ensure the state achieves Universal Health Coverage.
