Th Cross River State Government has concluded plans to establish a cement factory in Yala Local Government Area of the State.
The disclosure was made by the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Peter Egba where he also revealed that “Yala Local Government has enough limestone deposits, more than what Lafarge is even enjoying in Mfamosing.”
Mr. Egba made this known while speaking as a guest on, “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo” on Sundays on HIT 95.9 FM Calabar.
Concluding, the Commissioner added that the government has in its vision the creation of jobs and therefore the projects will be completed and delivered.
