Cross River Born female Surveyor, Dr. Gertrude Njar has emerged as the National Coordinator of Women in Surveying, a group that works to protect the interest of Women in the surveying profession.
Gertrude emerged as the National Coordinator in an election she won against Surveyor Mrs. Damilola Olukeogun of Abuja Branch.
The election was conducted during the 2018 Annual National Convention of Nigerian Institution of Surveyors ‘WOMEN-IN-SURVEYING’ held at the Rivers State House of Assembly Auditorium, Moscow Road Port Harcourt. Rivers State recently.
Dr. Njar was sworn in last Friday at the Surveyors AGM and Conference of Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS), in Bauchi State and has officially assumed office as National Coordinator of Women in Surveying.
Before now, she has been the immediate past State Chairman of Nigeria Institution of Surveyors.
