The Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Cross River and Akwa Ibom State Branch, Engr. Giandomenic Massari has insisted that Public Private Partnership, PPP is the best strategy government can employ for open and sustainable economic and industrialization drive.

Engr. Massari made his position known while speaking as a guest on “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo” Sunday 6-7pm on Hit 95.9 Fm Calabar.

Speaking on, the MAN Chairman said, “Agriculture and manufacturing are the gold mine of any economy,” adding that local content should be encouraged by the government of the day as a means of generating revenue and creating jobs for its citizens.

He pointed out that “Government formulates policies and provide conducive environment, while the private partners bring in capital and expertise.”

Concluding he maintained that his association is committed to playing its part in supporting the State Government to achieve its set goals.
