Etim John Insists He Is APC Cross River Chair, Describes Hilliard Etta’s Letter To INEC As Laughable (WATCH VIDEO)

By Efa Sunday

Ntufam Etim John has insisted that he is the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Cross River State describing as “funny and laughable” the letter sent to INEC by the party Vice Chairman South-South, Ntufam Hilliard Etta directing that all communication in respect to the conduct of the bye-election in Obudu 1 State Constituency be channeled to his office.

In this interview with CrossRiverWatch TV crew, he maintained that “the letter produced by Ntufam Etta shouldn’t be taken seriously as he was a witness to the various congresses that were held before I emerged the State Chairman.”

Challenging the mandate of the letter he went on to reveal that, “the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole had from his office written a letter to INEC Cross River State, confirming me as the substantive Chairman.”

He charged Cross Riverians to cast their votes irrespective of political affiliation stating that the bye-election in Obudu is a litmus test for his administration and he will surmount it.

“Cross Riverians should search their conscience, be honest with themselves, go out and obtain their voters card, walk up on the days of election majestically, walk up knowing that they are voters and their vote is their strengths. Whether you are in APC, PDP or in any other party, as a very responsible democrat, cast your vote for a person with credibility that will give Cross River State a face-lift.” He concluded.
