The Cross River State Government has said that effort is in top gear to address the lingering issues stalling the 2.4 billion naira Calabar Media City Loan secured by the previous administration of Senator Liyel Imoke for Ebony Life TV.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Dr. Rosemary Archibong recently in Calabar.
Mrs. Archibong stated that the Government of Senator Ben Ayade is not unconcerned about the problem as “I agree with you, there issues with the agreement with Ebony Life TV and this government is not indifferent to the problem.”
The Commissioner also said that “Work has been going on, and discussions have been on even with Ebony Life to see how we can address that issue.”
Adding that, “You know that the bank, Government and Ebony Life is involved. At the Exco level we have dealt with it and work is ongoing.”
In conclusion, the Cross River State image maker was positive that the issue will be swiftly resolved.
