Convener of ‘Our Mumu Don Do Movement’ Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charlie Boy has lampooned the present crop of leaders in the country, calling them “thieves, ignorant fools, morons, and riffraffs.”
Charlie Boy poured out his mind while speaking at the 2nd edition of the Cross River state Young And Emerging Political Leaders Summit held Friday at the Calabar International Convention Center.
The self acclaimed Area Fada as he is fondly called arrived the event in his usual enigmatic character, and was seen on a wheel chair, but later mounted the podium unaided.
Addressing youths at the summit, Charlie Boy said: “We are at warfare, we are at war with riffraffs, we are at war with thieves, we are at war with arrogant and ignorant fools, morons who have decided to kill us.
“But I am on a mission, a mission to challenge, a mission to ginger, a mission to ginger the Nigerian youths to take over. Our country is in dare need of direction, no prayer, no miracle can do this, it is all in the palms of our hands.”
He continued: “the only way to take over from the riffraffs in Aso rock is to come together, coming together to build a formidable force.
“After all, we don’t have experience in killing, we don’t have experience in looting, we don’t have experience in Boko Haram.”
The entertainer turned activist lamented the fact that when Nigerians leave the shores of the country, they become better, but live as slaves back home.
“When we leave the country, we are better and our wings are spread, but here we are treated like slave’s.
“Nigerian youths can take over, we can take over in two ways, we either take over collectively or take over divided, “but we can’t take over divided, we can only take over if we do this together,” Charlie Boy said.
