The Cross River State Chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Mr. Sunday Michael has stated that INEC is the legal body to determine the leadership of any political party.
He said this while speaking as a guest on a radio program “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo” monitored by CrossRiverWatch.
Mr. Sunday reiterated that INEC has recognized Mr. Etim John, as the APC Chairman of Cross River State and “this was done in consultation with the National Party.”
The IPAC Chairman further stated that, “Irrevocably, INEC has the final say because they are the ones to tell us who the Chairman of any political party is and so far they have done that by recognizing Etim John.”
Concluding he urged all aggrieved factions to shield their swords.
