Imoke Joins PDP Bigwigs In Kaduna To Mourn Wife Of Ex-Defence Minister, Binta Gusau

Former Cross River Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke on Tuesday joined several bigwigs of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to Kaduna to mourn the passing of Hajia Binta Gusau, wife of former national security (NSA) adviser, Lieutenant General Aliyu Gusau (rtd).

Hajia Gusau died on Friday last week in a London hospital and was laid to rest according to Islamic injunction on Tuesday in Kaduna.

Mr. Imoke joined the national leadership of the PDP led by the chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and about six other governors to attend the burial.

Hajia Gusau is survived by five children and her husband who is the only Nigerian to serve as NSA twice, chief of Army staff, minister of defense, last head of the defunct national security organisation as well as commandant of the Nigerian Defense Academy.
