The Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial district has finally broken the silence about his governorship ambition as he has revealed that come Wednesday 5th September, 2018, he will formally declare to run for the governorship of the state.

In a statement to Cross Riverians signed by the first time Senator himself yesterday, Saturday he maintained that his desire to govern Cross River is from “a deep reflection on the prevailing decadence in the style of governance that we have seen in the past three and a half years.”

He further said that “There is no doubt that the State is today mired in a downward spiral-bind of unpalatable human indicators and yawning gap in all social development indices.”

The declaration ceremony is slated to hold in Ikom on Wednesday, 10am prompt.
