PHED Promise Uninterrupted Power Supply In Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Two other States, In Yelutide Season

The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, has promised that customers across Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa , and Rivers states will enjoy both Christmas and New Year celebrations with uninterrupted power supply.

This assurance was given by the spokesperson of the company, Mr. John Onyi, on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Naveen Kapoor, through a press release dated 18th December, 2018 and made available to CrossRiverWatch.

Mr. Kapoor charged all customer-interfacing staff to be extremely dedicated with a view to achieving customers’ satisfaction especially during the yuletide season as they celebrate with family members.

According to the statement, “a 24-hour technical surveillance team has been put on stand-by to ensure that the service lines are completely free from faults.”

Naveen urged the customers to report any fault that would impede them from not getting supply to the nearest PHED office or call the 24/7 centre 0700CALLPHED,[070022557433] for immediate resolution that would subsequently lead to restoration of power supply to their area.

It reads in part; “We are not leaving any stone unturned during this yuletide season. We want to ensure that our customers celebrate it with supply and that’s why we strategically dedicated the technical team for prompt fault resolution.”

Kapoor also urged the customers to reciprocate the company’s kind gesture by ensuring that their electricity bills are settled on time before embarking on any journey, as he said it “would encourage PHED to do more in terms of network expansion and provision of electrical materials, among others.”the State.

The CEO also explained that “customers can pay from their comfort zones by logging on to www.phed.com.ng and click on payment icon for online vending or dial *322*1*86001*Amount# and send for post-paid customers.” He added.

    This promise has not been kept, have been in calabar since yesterday and they is no light my phone is about to off. You guys shouldn’t be like politicians who promise and fail.
