#NigeriaDecides: Gershom Bassey Floors Prince Otu Amidst Protest

The INEC Returning Officer for Cross River State Southern Senatorial district, Prof. James Ekpoke has just announced Sen. Gershom Bassey (PDP) winner.

According to the result, APC scored 63, 250 while PDP 77, 478.

Prince Bassey Otu, APC Southern Senatorial district candidate and Owan Enoh’s deputy, Ekpo Okon (factional APC in the State) has just left the collation center, INEC Calabar Municipal office.

They came to register their annoyance that the result has been sexed up and sent a written petition.

Though after hearing their complain they Returning Officer said only INEC can grant their request of not announcing the result.
