CrossRiverWatch has obtained the full list of the caretaker committee chairman and members appointed earlier today by Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State.
CrossRiverWatch had reported that a statement signed by the local government affairs commissioner, Mr. John Ulafor had disclosed that Mr. Ayade has appointed caretaker committees after the exercise failed last year following the several postponements of local government polls.
The Governor has also appointed the State correspondent of Vanguard Newspapers, Mr. Emmanuel Unah as well as Mr. Chidiebere Onyeimaizu who has been acting as the media aide to his Chief of Staff, Mr. Martin Orim as Special Assistants on Media.
The appointments also come on the heels of more appointments announced earlier this week.
The governor had also on January 29, 2019 appointed 60 Special Assistants.
