Mr. Venatius Ikem, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party has said that the rescheduled gubernatorial elections in Cross River State will be a walkover for the candidate of the PDP and incumbent, Governor Ben Ayade.
Ikem, a former guber aspirant of the APC stated this on Sunday in Calabar while fielding questions on a radio show, “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo”.
He further explained that elections are won not just based on the popularity of the candidate or financial wherewithal, but by the party’s structure which goes down to the polling unit level.
He concluded by maintaining that neither APC or SDP will unseat Ayade.
